Community Service

  • Dr. Bowlus is President of the Wood County Board of Health and is also President of the Wood County Chapter of the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI).
  • He teaches a 12-week session of the NAMI’s Fanily-to-Family class once a year, which educates the families, friends and other loved ones of people who suffer with mental illness.
  • Dr. Bowlus also participates in medical missions. His most recent trip was to Nuevo Progreso, Mexico, with a medical/construction team organized by the United Methodist Church.
